Scott Vander Ark (guitar, vocals) is the co-founder of Three’s a Crowd and has been performing around West Michigan off and on for over 30 years. If you don’t count the couple of years he “dragged” his two daughters around singing the retirement home circuit, this is the first time he’s played in a band with family. Scott spends his spare time listening to albums from his vinyl collection. He describes his time with TAC as “the most fun I’ve had in a rock & roll band!”

Kyle Douglass (drums) has been playing drums for over 20 years and discovered his passion for performing with live bands at an early age. He also taught for several years at music leadership clinics. When Kyle came to Grand Rapids, he quickly discovered the West Michigan music scene and recorded several full-length albums of original material while performing throughout Michigan at many well-known music venues. Kyle also enjoys his career as a marketing manager developing retail websites and mobile apps.

Sidney Vander Ark (vocals) has a lifelong passion for music and has been expressing herself through song her entire life. She has performed in a number of singing groups, as well as performing solo. From entertaining crowds in an a Capella caroling group to performing for intimate audiences at private events, Sidney has been growing as a musician for years. How she finds the energy to belt out those amazing vocals is anyone’s guess.

Brad Vander Ark (bass, vocals) played bass in several jazz and rock bands until 1993, when he formed The Verve Pipe, which became one of the most successful rock bands of the late 90’s. From 1999-2005, Brad lived in New York City working as an independent musician, recording, performing and producing albums and live shows with a number of critically acclaimed artists. In addition to performing with Three’s a Crowd, Brad owns and runs an internet marketing and web design company.
